The concentrating of Croatia’s construction and installation industry under the Government’s management begins by the public offer for acquiring the ailing Ingra that Duro Dakovic Holding (DD Holding) announced yesterday. This scenario was analysed at several meetings at the Ministry of Economy. One of the models considered was making Ingra the umbrella company for Croatia’s companies to operate abroad. But, due to technical difficulties in implementing that plan, it was decided that the concentration will begin via DD Holding which is financially liquid and majority state-owned. The media has unofficially learned that the synergy of DD Holding and Ingra was analysed in detail and that there are significant prospects for growth. Whether DD Holding will acquire Ingra is not yet known, and Ingra’s Management Board has not yet responded to the offer.
