Croatian coastal town of Sibenik will once again host the annual Adriatic Boat Show (ABS) in May in the recently revamped part of Mandalina Marina reserved for mega-yachts.

The marina recently received a 40 million Euro makeover from the Turkish Dogus Group. The Group’s investment in Mandalina Marina and Hotel Sibenik project makes up 10 per cent of all foreign investment in Croatia.

With preparations in full swing, the organiser Nautical Centre Prgin (NCP) promises to make this year’s event unforgettable with great entertainment and many fun surprises.

This is the first time that the show will take place in May, and the organisers would like to keep the same month reserved for ABS events in the future.

The Adriatic Boat Show with its new concept follows changes and trends in the international nautical market. With the goal of strengthening the market and promoting Croatia alongside the most prestigious sailing destinations, ABS 2012 will for the first time address a specialised segment of nautical tourism – the crewed yacht charters.

Many of the industry’s representatives – agents with central fleet, charter brokers and companies for yacht, charter and crew management – will benefit from the event.

The crewed yacht charter show is designed for guests, charter agents, yacht owners, captains and crew members as well as to all potential investors in this segment of tourism.

The fourth edition of the ABS show will take place from 17 to 20 May 2012.
